We would like to produce a global maths resource booklet and CD to be used as an educational resource and to be distributed within Bracknell Forest primary schools. It is the aim that the resource would incorporate global citizenship issues within the daily maths lesson and photographs to be used on the interactive whiteboard to provide the initial stimulus.

There has been a suggestion that these booklets and CDs be distributed to teachers in other authorities as well as other interested parties which we would then wish to make a charge for.

It is planned that the photograph (as seen on the maikulian.com/2009/01/26/kota-kinabalu-malaysia website) be used as part of the booklet and CD. Please could you confirm whether you own the copyright to this photograph and if not I would be grateful if you could let me know who does own the copyright. The photograph where used will be accredited to you by name in the booklet and CD..

If you do own the copyright to this photograph (attached) could you confirm to me in writing whether or not you grant permission for it to be used (the copy of the photograph to have an authorisation signature against it and returned) in the Bracknell Forest Council booklets ‘A Global Maths Resource’ and accompanying CDs in respect of the production and distribution of the above.
