Bouddhanath Stupa in outskirts of Kathmandu is one of the holiest place in Nepal. This Tibetan Buddhist stupa or rounded temple is one of the largest stupas in the world, and popular pilgrimage place. I spend one afternoon in December 2002 watching people ending their Kora or pilgrimage in there, some of them crawling on their knees.
