I managed to visit the Forbidden City during the National Day of China in October 2005, when all the country was on holiday for a week – and traveled to Beijing, it seemed. So I definately was not alone in the palaces, and it was rather hard to see anything.

However, there was some more quiet corners, and I found my joy in small details. Like this here. I have no clue what it says, propably something like don’t walk on the grass or this way to toilets… If anyone can read it, please let me know. Am curious!
